I love Lanvin. It is simply out of this world dreamy!
The unbelievable combination of whimsy and sophistication that seeps out of every pore of Alber Elbaz (Lanvin’s Creative Director) has kept me swooning season after season.
And now, I am excited to announce that Mr. Elbaz has me swooning in an entirely new direction.
On June 15th Lancome will launch a collaborative collection with Alber Elbaz, which will be his first foray into cosmetics, Lancome’s Hypnose Show by Alber Elbaz.
Centered around the eye, Elbaz has reworked the packaging of some of Lancome’s best selling products. “Dressing” them rather than placing them in typical mass market packaging. The result is a more intimate and personal feeling product dressed with Elbaz’s signature wit and humor. Like I said, dreamy!
Speaking about the design Elbaz told WWD “It is meant to feel like a fairy tale, to go back to a fantasy, to go back to a dream, to a happy ending. I think we always remember stories more than objects”.
The highly anticipated nine-piece collection will include: Hypnose Doll Lashes, Hypnose Drama, Definicils, and Hypnose Star mascaras ($29 each), and four shades of the brand’s Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Rose Coquette, Taupe Craze, Mint Jolie, and Midnight Rush ($51 each). The collection also features Lancôme’s first-ever foray into false eyelashes ($35).

I’m a sucker for great packaging – love the designs. I have a feeling my makeup bags will be sporting some new gear very soon.
I LOVE this new packaging! And although Lancome is so out of my price range now that I am a mom, I have to admit that I love Defencils. Back in the single days, I would use it all the time. Seriously one of my favorite mascaras.
Oooh! I love the new packaging.
Already love Lancome, and this doesn’t make me hate it! 😉
Oh how I love their pretty packaging! I have had fun a few times over the past year with using eyelashes for special occasions and loved it!
I love that packaging! Its so fun and would make all jealous next to me when I whip something like that out of my purse!
