Coach F/W 19 Trunk Show

Coach just seems to keep getting better and better.  Season after season Stuart Vevers somehow continues to WOW me, and the Coach FW19 Collection has me weak in the knees.

The Fall 2019 collection was inspired by a road trip Vevers took up California’s scenic Route 1 that had him stopping at Nepenthe, the famous Big Sur restaurant that opened in 1949 and is still a must for sweeping views, Ambrosia burgers and shopping for tie-dyes and wind chimes.

For the FW19 Collection Vevers enlisted artist Kaffe Fassett, whose family has owned and operated Nepenthe since the start. He splashed Fassett’s Sixties-era  florals prints on top of black backgrounds throughout the collection which resulted in a gorgeous muted color palette with a punch of  rock n’ roll and punk grit.

The prairie-vibe Coach has become famous for is still in there, of course, in the form of pointed-toe boots, bolero-tie details on button-up dresses, in patchwork quilt prints and deep-hued florals.

It is somehow so totally COACH yet so totally fresh and new! It’s a darker kind of romance, jewel-toned brocades, dark navy plaids, shearling, suede and cozy Fair Isle Sweaters.

Last week I was FINALLY able to get my hands on this gorgeous collection at the Coach FW19 Trunk Show at the Coach Boutique in the Forum Shops at Caesars.

The collection has a wonderful aura of unisex style— from wallet chain details to creeper-esc  boots and bolero-tie details.

I am head-over-heels with this mash-up of prairie meets rock-a-billy style Vevers has crafted for the season.

Think 1950’s British Teddy Boys meets Little House on the Prairie- and it’s so totally perfect!

After viewing the collection- and doing some shopping (which you will see in an upcoming OOTD) we were treated to the most delicious lunch at the brand new Water Grill in the Forum Shops.

How totally chic is this place setting!

The food was absolutely incredible!

We began with a Shellfish Platter that was seriously a work of art paired with fresh horseradish, cocktail sauce , mignonette and habanero-lime sauce.

The next course was a tasty mixed organic greens salad topped with shaved yellow beets..

..and then it happened.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING I THINK I HAVE EVER EATEN. Wild Ross Sea Chilean Sea Bass with Butternut Squash Gnocchi and Sage Brown Butter.

I cannot even explain how fantastic this was except to tell you that there was a collective OMG sigh and everyone’s eyes rolled back in their heads when the first bite of it hit their mouths.  If you are in Vegas you NEED to go now to Water Grill and order this dish.  Go NOW!

After we all regained our composure we finished off a wonderful afternoon of fashion and food with a chef’s selection of tasty desserts.

View the Coach FW19 Collection for yourself at Coach Forum Shops and stop in for a bite afterwards at Water Grill.
