Donna Karan’s DKNY Fall 2013 Collection hit New York Runways yesterday proving that the DKNY Girl is definitely a City Girl.
Camel, black, white and gray ruled the runway from color blocking to oversize leopard spots with showstopping appearances of Traffic Light Red pieces.
While layering directed traffic, the collection was composed of knee length skirts, flouncy floor length dresses, sexy sheaths, and menswear influences of tailored overcoats, bomber jackets, beanies and leather accents.
The standouts of the show for me were dresses topped with oversize sweaters giving them a chic urban lived in look.
One of the most wearable collections for Fall 2013 I have seen so far showing that City Girls can have a little edge.

I love DKNY always makes you look great on stage when speaking 🙂 And I really like the camel and black and reds are always amazing.
Totally agree…she is such a great designer for looking professional yet fashion forward. I still have DKNY pieces from college I wear- yikes should I admit that?!? LOVE her color choices!
Love those long DKNY dresses! And the colors are fabulous too.
I love DKNY but haven’t purchased an since I left NY. I need to rethink that… Fall collection looks gorgeous!
Iv’e noticed lot’s of red pieces and I love it. I’m also a dress wearer so all things dresses will catch my eye. The flow of the fabric and length always get me. “flouncy floor length dresses”….oh heart be still!
