Egyptian Magic: Ancient Healing

In my shopping “travels” I often stumble upon the most unique and useful products out there!  Everyone is always asking me “Where did you find that?” or “Holy crap! What is that?”.  I usually just smile and keep my treasures to myself, but I figured its time to let people in on some of my “magical” finds.

One of my best discoveries is Egyptian Magic.

Dubbed as an “All Purpose Miracle Cream” Egyptian Magic has been a Hollywood beauty secret for years.  Celebrity after celebrity swears they won’t go anywhere without it!

“Released in 1991 and marketed exclusively through word of mouth Egyptian Magic is one of the most popular grass-roots products ever. It’s been called a “cult” product, but its a big cult!  From Madonna, Kate Hudson, Karolina Kurkova, Juliette Lewis and hundreds of other top stars to hundreds of thousands of consumers around the world.”

But does Egyptian Magic live up to the hype?

My answer: OH YES…. IT DOES!

Made of 6 simple all natural ingredients: Olive Oil, Honey, Bees Wax, Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen, Propolis.

The product comes in a campy jar, which touts that it is an Ancient Kamitians’ Secret, Magical Cream.

When you open it the product looks like a solid waxy type balm.  BEWARE a little goes a long way with this!  Take a small, and I mean teeny tiny amount and rub your fingers together.  It will heat up and instantly becomes an oil.

I honestly can’t find a skin ailment that this product doesn’t treat!  Great for reducing scars, dry lips, dry elbows, tames fly away hair, rashes, night cream, eye cream, dry cracked feet, stretch marks, psoriasis, eczema, cuticle cream, the list goes on and on! (I’m finding new uses everyday!)

Chatting with a model last week I learned she had been modeling in China recently and had BAD scarring from bug bites, nothing was working on them!  I told her about Egyptian Magic and she headed right out to grab a jar to heal those scars!

I have been using it as an eye cream for over a month now and have noticed a BIG reduction in my crows feet..thank you Egyptian Magic!  You were my last stop before BOTOX!!  Woo Hoo!

Today I found another use!  I burned my neck with my flat iron…it hurt really bad!  Ouch Ouch Ouch! I remembered reading online that Egyptian Magic was great for burns.  I grabbed my jar, put it on and it cut the stinging feeling instantly! Ahhhhh.

Egyptian Magic is so versitale it replaces the 50 different creams, ointments and lotions you are using now!  One jar of Egyptian Magic takes care of it all!

Can you tell I love this product?  I sound like an infomercial!

Pick up Egyptian Magic online http://www.egyptianmagic.com/  or at Whole Foods for around $36.00.

Seriously.  Everyone should have a jar of this and it will last a VERY long time, I have barely made a dent in mine!

The ancient Kamitians at Egyptian Magic want to heal your soul, well maybe not your soul but at least your skin!  They have partnered with me this week to give one lucky winner a 4oz jar of Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream.

  1. Living in Las Vegas has dried my hands and feet into a state much like our nearby dry lake bed! In addition to it’s other uses, this product would help tremendously in extending the life of my manicure/pedicure and keep my hands and feet looking soft and camera ready! Thanks Christie!

  2. Ok, so being close to the age of 60, I need all the help I can get. Tucson is a lot like Vegas, HOT and DRY. AND, I need to look FABULOUS by 10.10.10 as my beautiful daughter is getting married to a wonderful man who I love very much. And I don’t want to look like the old, hag mother and mother in law. My WHOLE body could use this cream. I am off to Whole Foods!! Probably will buy 2 jars. Thanx Christie! You are helping to keep me young and pretty.

  3. Hey, Christie! I am a believer when it comes to natural bee products. After spending 5 months in New Zealand earlier this year (where I visited a bee center and bought lots of products from cough drops to body lotion), I’ve learned of the healing and cosmetic properties of bee products! I now use a bee venom cream on my hands to keep them looking younger. A spoonful of honey in my tea when I’m feeling a bit of a scratchy throat does wonders. Without bees, our crops worldwide would be non-existent! I’m a big promoter of bee products and will rush right out to Whole Foods to buy my Egyptian Magic! Thanks for the heads up on this exciting product. I’m all over it like a bear in honey!

  4. I’ve been wanting to try this stuff for a while now, I go through hand creams, cuticle balms, etc. like I change my underwear- a different one every day it seems. My poor hands and cuticles take a beating because of my blog, and I’m constantly searching for something that will make my skin hate me just a little less. 🙂

  5. I’ve been looking for a moisturizer that works well for a while – especially for my face. I have a few old scars that I wouldn’t mind if they would fade a bit, too. And with winter coming on I’ll be needing a good moisturizer soon! I’ve never heard of this brand before but it sounds fantastic – and something that I’d very much like to try!

  6. Ooooh! This reminds me of Smith’s Rosebud Salve which is also good for any type of skins issues. Now I gotta go to Whole Foods and try this! YAY! Thanks Christie!

  7. First of all, Christie, kudos for taking this to the ‘old school’…lol, I will be expecting a blog on Dax Wax next, lol!!! I love it and have indulged in this multi use pomade not too long ago. Well, I am willing to put this to the ‘remove scars’ test. This summer some unknown spider crawled into my window and bit me about sixteen times in the same spot on the back of my leg. It got infected, apparently I had an allergic reaction. As the infection moved to my lymph nodes, I finally had to take antibiotics to fight off whatever the little devil put in me leg. Now, though it’s healed, there are little dots where that buggar took a liking to Kahshanna chops and I certainly would love those marks to go away. Egyptian Magic…..take me aaaawwwwaaaayyyyyyy!!

  8. Christie knows I love this kinda stuff. I tell her about stuff, she tells me….it’s a great exchange. But, what really ails me, is my boobies!!!! Will it fix those? make em firmer? A bit perkier? I pray to God it works on them too.She sold me on all the other uses.I will march out now and buy some. My boobs need a massage anyway. And if it works on them, I will dunk my whole body in the stuff.

  9. I would use it all over! Especially on my BF’s darn elbow! No matter what we try, it’s always crusty! I’d especially use it on my cuticles. I wait tables all day and go to school, so if I don’t have dish pan hands, I’ve got a pen in my hand, that would help out a lot! Let’s see wheore else, my feet, my face, I’d share of course (if I had to)! All over!

  10. Wow I can see myself using this for A LOT of things. From the lovely wintery chapped skin, blisters from running, to blisters from weightlifing(I hate using gloves). So endless. It will be my ALL PURPOSE MAGICAL SKIN HEALING DREAM IN A CREAM. Thx for sharing Christie!

  11. I’m hoping it comes in very large jars so I can just dive in and take care of all my dry skin. I hope it can also make old skin look refreshed rather than dehydrated. When I get back in town I am heading to Whole Foods. I’m not only finding your advise great, but I look forward to your articles and anxiously wait to see what each week will bring.

  12. This is what I have been looking for my entire life for perfect skin?! If only I had known. You know that you’re an awesome person for doing this. There’s a special place for you in heaven, the pretty section.

  13. Hey Christie!
I’ve been a fan of your’s for quite some time… Jerry Metellus, Darryl Martin, Wayne Wallace and Peter Harasty all have sung your praises. Can’t believe we’ve never met – ANYHOO, thanks for talking about Egyptian Magic! I have never heard about it, and am constantly looking for something to stave off my persistently chapped lips… so far, Bath & Body Works’ Rose Salve works the best… I recently bought the Shea Butter lip stuff @ L’Occitane, but that doesn’t work as well. I am also VERY interested in the use as an eye cream, as my crow’s feet have just recently REALLY introduced themselves…

    Cheers!

  14. I use this product as an eye cream, foundation base, neck cream and hair as a de-frizzer after your blow dry. It is amazing and it will save you money in the long run.
