My Night with Gaga

I was invited by Skype to be their guest at Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball in Las Vegas!

You probably saw me Tweeting, Instagraming and Facebooking live highlights throughout the night but here is a full recap.

The stage was set with a fantastic medieval castle which rotates and moves throughout the show and Gaga performed on and in every single inch of it.

The performance opened with a Born This Way birth scene including a giant zippered inflatable vagina..oh GAGA.

Lady Gaga takes time throughout the show to talk with the audience and discuss her Born This Way Foundation and it’s partnership with Virgin Mobile.

The night got very personal and touching as Lady Gaga paused to make a special phone call.

“One lucky fan is selected at each show to have a $5,000 donation made to a local youth homeless shelter on his or her behalf – and then has the opportunity to increase the donation by spreading the word socially or volunteering for the cause. This fan will also get a special surprise from Mother Monster herself.”

It all starts with a phone call.  About half way through the show Lady Gaga pauses to make a call to this lucky fan and just by picking up the phone they help their local  community.

You know I HAVE to talk about the Costumes!!!

Throughout the show Lady Gaga makes 14  fantastic costume changes (YES FOURTEEN changes, I COUNTED) from acclaimed designers such as Armani and Versace while donned in her bejeweled red bottomed Christian Louboutin boots.

Dazzling stage costumes, Little Monster fans in their finest get-ups, great music, a touching charity donation and creative stage design.

The production value was amazing and I loved the down to earth humble way Lady Gaga constantly thanked her fans throughout the show.  #ADefiniteMust-See.  Thanks Skype!
