I am currently having a moment with nostalgia.  The week between Christmas and New Years always seems to do this to me.

A quick look back at where I’ve been and a peek forward at where I’m going.

This OOTD incorporates both old and new into a dark dreamy fairy-tale inspired look.

I picked up this gorgeous vintage faux fur velvety soft Borella by Sportstowne double breasted swing coat a few years ago, it is one of my favorite pieces and I love reinventing it every winter.

It pairs beautifully with party dresses but this year I wanted to create a casual luxe look with it.

I paired it with this “Ecstatic Age” top from MODCLOTH which features the Misfits iconic crimson ghost on the front and a sweet petal collar.

To keep the look sweet I paired it with brogues and then gave it a wintery boost with a pompom knit hat and rockin’ side zipper black  jeans.
