The beauty industry is undergoing a technical revolution.

This week I was invited to take a peek into the future at Neiman Marcus with a first of its kind beauty treatment: Patchology.
Patchology was developed by a team of transdermal patch experts and beauty industry veterans. It is the first to use wireless patented micro-current patch technology to deliver ingredients deep into your skin in a way that creams cannot. The result: Super-hydrated skin with a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, reduced puffiness and an overall “brightened eye” look.
Each patch contains a wireless micro-current battery preloaded with cosmeceutical grade anti-ageing ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid (provides moisture and moisture retention), Okra Plant Extract Peptide (Smooths fine lines and wrinkles), Argirelene Peptide (Gently relaxes fine lines and wrinkles), and Vitamin C (antioxidant, brightens, improves elasticity) which works in combination with The Activating Gel containing Hyaluronic Acid (provides moisture and moisture retention), Aquaxyl Complex (Hydrates for smoother, softer skin), Cactus Extract Complex (Hydrating, calming, soothing), Okra Plant Extract Peptide (Smooths fine lines and wrinkles), Cucumber Extract (Naturally soothes and calms irritation and puffiness).
The application is an easy mess-free three step process.
1. First, remove the patch from the clear plastic sheet and apply a thin wet layer of The Activating Gel to the back of the patch. Repeat for the second patch.
2. Next, apply the patch (to clean dry skin) in the desired under-eye treatment area and press firmly to hold the patch in place. Wear for 20-30 minutes.
3. Remove the patch by gently lifting from top to bottom, inside to out. Place the eye patch back on the clear plastic sheet and then put in the reusable pouch for future use (Each patch is reusable up to four times) . Gently wipe under the eye with The Refreshing Wipes to remove all of The Activating Gel. Follow with your favorite eye cream or serum.
My thoughts: I have tried many eye patches before and was always happy with the soothing/depuffing results they produce but they are NOTHING like Patchology. I was totally blown away with the reduction of fine lines in my crows-feet area. NOTHING has ever produced results like this for me in that particular area. I was told the results last up to 3 days before you need to apply the patch again AND after several weeks you should notice a permanent reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. I love, love, love them!

I love the idea of a patch… so much easier (and faster) than just using cream every day. The Nordstrom website says they can be re-used up to 4 times. If that’s true, it’s a pretty good deal. Way less expensive than going to a dermatologist.
