Road Trip with Warby Parker

Nothing is better than a summer Road Trip.  Diners, Motor-lodges and gettin’ your kicks on Route 66, but what’s a road trip without the perfect shades?

This week one of my favorite eye-wear brands Warby Parker launches the ultimate road trip collection: The Meridian Collection.

“The Meridian Collection is for renegade travelers and roaming aviators, a tool for impromptu expeditions and perilous treks. We’ve named it after the geographical mark that pilots use to determine their longitudinal degree. These are sunglasses for off-road excursions and uncharted territory—perfect from North Pole to South Pole to anywhere in between.”

These stunning aviator frames come in 3 styles named for some of America’s most well know disruptive authors, those whose ideas broke the mold to create a significant literary impact: Frederick Exley, Ellen Raskin, and Flannery O’Connor.

Fashioned from Japanese ion-plated titanium each style showcases a distinctly different take on the classic aviator.

The Exley is a petite teardrop with just enough of a dip to compliment any face shape.

The Raskin features a larger lens perfect for those wanting the full aviator experience.

The Flannery gives a polished medium fit.  The ideal frame for both traditionalists and mavericks alike.

Being from Vegas, My only question is when is the Hunter S. Thompson Fear and Loathing Frame launching? LOL.

Available in Jet Silver and Polished Gold.  You can find the collection online at warbyparker.com and at Warby Parker retail locations.
