Tousled, sexy, just been to the beach hair was the go-to style on the Spring Runways and I’m sure you have seen it popping up in the Spring fashion spreads in your favorite magazines.

This season’s beach hair is more about tousled tresses than beach waves as in previous seasons.

The trend that is rockin’ NOW is beach with an edge.  It’s 1 part Gidget and 2 parts Joan Jett.

The key to achieving this easy yet chic look is texture.  When you spend the day at the beach it’s the salt water that gives your hair that wavy textured appeal.  To create this at home you need a good sea salt spray.

I am in LOVE with Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.

To get the look: spray on DRY hair to add volume, separation and defined random rockin’ texture.  Use your fingers to work through then place your hands under your hair and shake it out at the scalp.  Add as little or as much product as you want to achieve desired effect.  I went for an easy tousled style, if you want more separation just add more product.
