Sick Day Essentials

out-sick (1)

Well, it got me.  The annual cold.  All my hand washing and ducking and bobbing every time someone coughed did me no good.

I think I must have blown my nose over 1,000 times yesterday. It actually had become painful.  The outside of my nose felt raw, burny, rough and red.  Everytime I raised a tissue to it I would swear I was wiping my nose with sandpaper.

They say necessity is the mother of invention and it was absolutely necessary I fix this problem!

First I tried lotions- DO NOT make the same mistake as me and apply a lotion with a fragrance in it….OUCH!

Next I tried moisturizers, balms and serums- nope not helping.

Then it hit me!  What about my GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD?  I use it all the time as an overnight mask and it leaves my skin looking ah-mazing and super hydrated and hydration was just what I needed.

I opened the jar and dabbed that sweet treatment on my nose. Ahhhhhhhh. Instant relieve and about an hour after I applied the redness was totally gone and my nose felt soft to the touch again!  No more rough flaky skin!!

Hallelujah.  Yet another use for one of my favorite products!
