Halloween Vibes Everyday

Halloween Vibes everyday

Gather your ghoul gang because things are getting pretty spooky around here.

There has been so much debate about what Halloween will look like this year- will we dress up, will we take the kids out, how can we celebrate?  I saw the greatest meme ever about it the other day:

“I don’t understand why Halloween, of  all holidays, would be affected by covid.  It’s basically curbside pickup while wearing a mask”

Halloween is not cancelled!  We shall mask up and celebrate!

If you are a regular here on the blog you know I love a good “themed” piece and you also know that I’M OBSESSED with Halloween.

While you may be feverishly planning your Halloween costume what are you going to wear for the other 30 days of the month?

To kick off the Halloween season, I wanted to share how you can get into the spooky spirit with Halloween themed pieces- the perfect way to get Halloween vibes everyday. A costume you only wear for a night but Halloween themed clothing can be worn all month long!

No one wants to look like their great aunt Myrtle who decked herself out head to toe in the wackiest (and not in a good way) holiday themed pieces she could find.

The trick to pulling off Halloween themed looks without looking cheesy is to opt for pieces that are classic.

Tis’ the season when Lily Munster, Morticia Addams, Vampira and of course Elvira rule our tv screens. These monstrous maven’s killer iconic styles are wonderfully wicked and all incorporate a deviant dash of retro style. Take a few style cues from the classics and look for Halloween pieces with retro silhouettes, vintage prints and timeless style.

These types of pieces are also a great alternative to a costume, you can still celebrate the Halloween vibes everyday without totally suiting up.
