Tights are Officially A Thing for Fall 2018

Tights Trend Fall 2018

Yep that’s right, bare legs are NOT in season, Tights are officially a “thing” for Fall/Winter 2018.

Street-stylers, influencers and celebs alike are stocking up on tights in every color of the spectrum.  From classic black to bold bright colors, tights are that extra layer you need this season to give your look some oomph!

It all started at New York Fashion Week with several brands working in tights to complement a wide variety of looks. Seriously they were everywhere!  Anna Sui decked models out in red, yellow and blue tights, some solid, others with fun whimsical patterns.  Ulla Johnson made a statement with perfect mossy green tights paired with frilly dresses and flowing skirts. Tom Ford teamed colorful animal print sling back kitten heels with with vampy fishnets in classic black and colorful leopard print tights (which were matched to the shoes). Alexander Wang incorporated black sheer tights with fashionable logo prints on the side and FENDI went full logo with sheer black tights emblazoned with the double F logo.

Whether you choose to sport tights in a head to toe print look that matches your outfit and shoes (hello all leopard), patterned tights as another layer to a mixed print look(plaid on plaid), frilly feminine embellished tights paired with sneakers for a casual chic aesthetic, bold colorful tights as a single bold statement color or classic opaque black tights to refine your look- you can’t go wrong slipping your legs into some tights this season.
