The Dr. is in!

Who do you think makes this gorgeous boot? Frye? Donald Pliner? Steve Madden? Wrong, wrong and wrong.

and who do you thinks makes this sandal?

Of course, you know that the sandal is the iconic Original Exercise Sandal made famous by Dr. Scholl’s in the 1960’s and early 70’s but did you know the boot was designed by Dr. Scholl’s as well?

This season the famed brand that is over a hundred years old has opened its first retail stores across the country and Las Vegas is host to one of them!

I didn’t really know what to expect when Dr. Scholl’s invited me to attend a preview party.  I somehow imagined rows of slightly revamped exercise sandals and “comfort” shoes that may not be so “comforting” on the eye and not really suitable for a Fall story.

I could’t have been more wrong!

Walking in the store I was stunned to see beautiful boots akin to the quality and fashion forward style of many designer brands found at high end retailers….but bonus…these shoes were actually comfortable- including memory fit cushioned insoles, free step technology and pressure relief- PLUS the price point is amazing!

Here are some of my Dr. Scholl’s  Top picks for Fall:

Dr. Scholl’s Jasper Boot.  You can rock this boot three ways!  Either plain, with removable cuff collar or with faux fur/sweater sleeve!  Three boots for the price of one! Includes smooth lining and Memory Fit Foam insole.

Dr. Scholl’s mens Oren boot.  On trend and comfortable!  Oren features wingtip details on toe and shaft and cushioning insole with Memory fit Foam!

This is the style I nabbed for myself.  The Ali (in elephant Grey).  I love the oiled leather look and I have been obsessed with Grey for Fall. The fold over cuff with knit collar is so chic!

Erase your preconceived notions of what Dr. Scholl’s Shoes are. The brand is back and better than ever featuring all new fashion forward designs along with the classic styles we have come to depend on.

The Dr. is in this season, again!

Visit one of the new boutiques and treat your feet to fashion forward comfort.
