Open, Open Open!!!! It’s finally here! The Grand Opening of Las Vegas’ newest retail shopping destination: Downtown Summerlin!
Downtown Summerlin will kick things off on October 9th with a four day street festival of shopping, music, food, fashion and live entertainment, beginning with a spectacular light show opening ceremony at 8pm on October 9th. The evening will showcase an incredible spectacle of light and sound never before seen in the Las Vegas Valley. Get there early to pick up your free DTS Xylobands- LED wristbands- from Brand Ambassadors throughout the Downtown to be part of the Light Show opening ceremony!
The street party will continue on Friday and throughout the weekend with DJs, street entertainers, artists, kids activities, surprise guests and GIVEAWAYS!
Saturday Oct. 11, will feature fabulous fashion shows and fashion makeovers throughout the day.
Still need more action? The four day festival will also have a pop-up food festival with the city’s best food trucks lining the streets!
Located just South of the Red Rock Hotel-Casino Downtown Summerlin will host more than 125 retail stores and restaurants including Macy’s, Dillard’s, Nordstrom Rack, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse (a first to this market), LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, Sephora, California Pizza Kitchen, Rice Republic, Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant as well as a state-of-the-art luxury movie theater from Regal Cinemas.
I am ridiculously, head over heels, warming up my credit cards excited about the opening of first to market Danish import fashion brands B.Young featuring womens clothing with “high fashion quality at attractive prices” and mens brand Lindbergh which offers contemporary masculine clothes created for men who are interested in acquiring a wardrobe based on problem solving, finding something cool that fits into their lives. I have been pouring over their lookbooks earmarking all of my must-haves!
