Designers created pure alchemy on Fall 2016 runways, metallics especially GOLD are HOT HOT HOT this season.

At Rachel Zoe, a lamé-like sheer maxi stole the show and at fashion with a conscious label SUNO models fluttered down the runway in gorgeous full pleated skirts while at Saint Laurent it was a solid gold tribute to the 80s with exaggerated pouffed shoulders and glittery side bows.

Like the trend but not sure how to pull it off?  Afraid you’ll end up looking like a disco ball?

Baby steps.

Sample the trend by incorporating metallic shoes and bags into your everyday look.  Pair them with a neutral- black always works- to get your feet wet.  Next kick it up a notch but keep it casual with a full metallic skirt paired with a sweater, tee or sweatshirt.  Then when you are nice and comfortable with it go full on with a metallic dress.

Sparkle by day in metallic sneakers and bomber jackets then shine by night in luxe dresses, skirts that move and solid gold heels. From tinsel-esc fabrics to textiles that look as though they have been dipped in gold you can’t go wrong with metallics this season!
