Betsey Johnson Thinks Pink

For those of you that don’t know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month!

Fashion designer Betsey Johnson, one of the most bold and colorful personalities in the fashion world,  has been an advocate of Breast Cancer awareness since 12 years ago she discovered a lump in her breast after one of her saline implants suddenly deflated.  Now a 12 year breast cancer survivor, each year Betsey Designs special limited edition items, from which a portion of the proceeds benefit cancer related causes.

This year a portion of the proceeds benefit Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

    As a cancer survivor, I am always wanting to raise awareness and try to support the causes. As a football fan, I love all the breast cancer awareness gear they produce. So, I’ll be sporting my pink Chargers hat eery Sunday!

  2. Lost my grandma to breast cancer. I set off pink balloons on her birthday. I also have my “I love boobies” save a breast T shirt and wristband! These Betsey Johnson items are a must have!!! Thank you Christie!

  3. I’m supporting breast cancer awareness in two ways: one, I wrote about products being sold in Las Vegas that support breast cancer awareness for a local magazine. And, two, I am purchasing a breast cancer awareness product. Oh, and does it count that I am growing my hair out to donate as a wig for a cancer patient? I’m cutting my hair in January! Thanks, Christie, for another awesome giveaway!

  4. I started a team and walked in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer on Oct 1. We raised over $1500!

  5. With my mom in and out of remission since I was little from breast cancer, I’ve been a strong supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Even my lil sis didn’t want gifts at her wedding only donations to the foundation. This month I will use my voice in social media to drive awareness for breast cancer, as well as wearing pink and buying products that support the cause…including those adorable Betsey Johnson gloves!
